hello. I'm planning to marry someone of the same sex. But i am not quite sure if it is legal or safe. i would want to ask if which part in the Bible did it say that same sex marriage is legal? a lot of people say that it is not right. it is not moral! but i am still confused of the moment. please reply and clear my thoughts. thank you!!
It is neither legal or illegal. Our holy union has no legal implications since it is not a civil ceremony but a religious sacrament and religious practices and ceremonies are protected under our constitution. It is safe but the only thing is that if people find out, you might hear a lot from the bigots and religious moralists like what we are experiencing in Baguio City right now... The good thing is, since what happened in Baguio more and more LGBT couples are asking us to perform holy union on their relationships.
